741 Hours down

I am a little more then half way through my journey of barber school. In the last 6 months at Avara's academy in Dundalk MD, I have taken hold of one of the oldest trades in the word. Honestly I'm Stoked. I have made great friends with students, instructors and clients. I really love the history and the knowledge shared by the older barbers. Some have been cutting longer then ive been alive. This is just a quick up date on where i am in my life... kevo

The dirty thirty

I can't believe I've made it to thirty. If I died today I would be OK with it because of all the things I've accomplished. Looking back ten maybe even fifteen years ago and thinking man I will have toured the us and Canada playing punk music by the time I'm thirty.  I would have said bullshit. Life is good I have a great girl to spend time with and the best friends anyone could ask for. Thanks everyone for making my first 30 the best yet.

Yet another chapter ends and a new one begins

Tommorow will be the first day i am no longer the regional manager of the delaware ce stores. Most of my time here i spent trying to make life easier for my employees , if they were down or had a bad day i would do my best to make them smile. Its been 10 days since i told them we were closing stores and i am leaving. I remember each of there faces frozen in time. I am sad now. Ive waited so long for this day to come and now that its here i feel terible. I hope the next 3 weeks fly by and i settle in baltimore and life starts looking up.

its been a while

All most 2 yrs since i touched this thing. since then i have moved to Delaware and became the regional manager of 3 At&t (Communications Electronics) stores. Living in DE has taught me a lot about myself. The main thing ive learned is i can exist anywhere, But only really live near my family and friends. Work is a great reason to move around and i am lucky to have a job at all let alone to opportunity to travel around. Beach time has been a blast but i can not wait to regroup with friends and move back to city living. I miss silly things like starbucks and late night thrashin in towson. I will be 30 soon and i feel like im still 19. One thing i will miss most in DE is Team Viper BJJ. They will be the family i leave behind here. I will however continue to train but it will be ..different. Im no hipster and the purpose of this blog is not to entertain or inform anyone about a specific thing or idea(baking or how vintage the clothes i own are). This is just a collection of thoughts, photos and most likely poorly written entrys about whats going on in my life at the moment i sit behind this keyboard. If you enjoy it drop a comment. kevo
